Swedish telecom big Ericsson has agreed to buy Cradlepoint, a U.S. wireless networking firm, for $one.one billion.
Ericsson said the offer was section of its 5G expansion programs. Its put together presenting would create new earnings streams and improve returns on investments in the network, it said.
“Portfolio-in the vicinity of acquisitions are an integral section of our earlier communicated approach. The acquisition of Cradlepoint enhances our existing choices and is critical to our approach of aiding prospects improve the benefit of their 5G network investments,” Ericsson main govt officer Börje Ekholm said.
