Poland Tries to Repel Surge of Migrants Caught Up in EU-Belarus Standoff

The existence of countless numbers of migrants amassed around Belarus’s border with Poland has escalated tensions concerning Minsk and the European Union, which blames Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko for ushering the migrants to the bloc.

On Tuesday, Poland’s Ministry of Protection launched a video showing crowds of migrants camped on the Belarusian facet of the border fence, waiting around to cross. Polish authorities said that concerning 3,000 and 4,000 migrants had arrived there in the latest times and as many as ten,000 other individuals were in Belarus and all set to try to cross into Poland.
